New gambling spam offers 'secret roulette trick'

Roulette-email-scam Recently, emails containing a secret roulette trick that was supposedly intended for someone else have started to invade in-boxes. In case you're curious, here's the story.

These emails are a strange sub-set of the spam universe. Unlike previous waves of gambling spam, they don't directly promote a gambling site by offering specials or freebies or other come-ons. Instead, they try to convince the recipient that they have a fool-proof system for winning at roulette.

If you receive one of these emails and wonder why it wasn't identified by your spam filter, it's likely because it doesn't trigger any of the usual red flags that the filters typically look for. They contain no images, no hyperlinked URLs, the content is (relatively) good English and it appears to be a genuine reply to an outbound email, albeit one that has been 'inadvertently' addressed to you instead of the intended recipient.

Here's how it goes:

Subject: Re: yo mate

yo mate, ok I`ll give you my trick but if you give it someone else I`ll fuckin kill you :)
you know in roulette you can bet on blacks or reds. If you bet $1 on black and it goes black you win $1 but if it goes red you loose your $1.
So I found a way you can win everytime:

bet $1 on black if it goes black you win $1

now again bet $1 on black, if it goes red bet $3 on black, if it goes red again bet $8 on black, if red again bet $20 on black, red again bet $52 on black (always multiple you previous lost bet around 2.5), if now is black you win $52 so you have $104 and you bet:

$1 + $3 + $8 + $20 + $52 = $84 So you just won $20 :)

now when you won you start with $1 on blacks again etc etc. its always bound to go black
eventually (it`s 50/50) so that way you eventually always win. But there`s a catch. If you
start winning too much (like $1000 a day) casino will finally notice something and can ban
you. I was banned once on royal casino. So don`t be too greedy and don`t win more then $200
a day and you can do it for years. I think bigger casinos know that trick so I play for real
money on smaller ones, right now I play on lucky jackpot casino: rabbit-jackpot.net for more
then 3 months, I win $50-$200 a day and my account still works. You`ll find roulette there when you log in go to
"specialty games" – "american roulette". And don`t you dare talling about it anyone else,
if too many people knows about it casinos will finally found a way to block that trick. If
you have any questions just drop me a line here or on skype.

Those among you who are familiar with roulette will have already spotted the most obvious error in this so-called trick. The chances that a spin of the wheel landing on black isn't quite 50/50. That's because red and black aren't the only colours on the wheel – there's green too. The actual distribution of the colours are 18 Red, 18 Black and 2 Green (for American Roulette – just 1 for French).

Next of course is the big lie: a supposed system that will beat the roulette game every time.

In fact, the system described in the email is known as "Grand Martingale", which makes the assumption that as long as you keep betting, (and keep increasing your losing bets by multiplying them by 2.5) you'll eventually win. And in theory, this is absolutely correct.

But the catch that isn't mentioned in the email and which will catch most unsuspecting player off guard, is that almost every roulette table (whether online or in a real casino) has a bet minimum and maximum bet limits.

This means that you don't actually have the luxury of continuous betting (even assuming you had enough cash to put down) until you win. Even if you use the example in the email of starting your bets a $1, you'd be up to $84 after just 5 bets. If the table has a maximum bet limit of $200, and you haven't won by your 5th bet, you've lost $84 because the next bet in the sequence needs to be $130 and since $130+$84 = $214, you've gone over the limit. You'll have to start all over again.

As you can imagine, if the table's minimum bet is $5 and the maximum limit is $500, this system can rack up the losses very quickly.

So if you received this spam and were in any way seduced by the lure of easy money, think again.

I've never gotten one (or if I have, it was deleted without being opened), but I don't fall for these gambling scams simply because I don't bother with gambling. But I can see how some might fall for it if they'd never seen this article.

The same trick can be played on the sections where the pay out is two to one, You play two sections and collect your winnings, Its like getting a free spin every time you win,if you lose just double up your bet until you win again, than go back to the start. The only thing I find is you have to pay attention to the dealer, They will slow down the wheel by sweeping the chips slower, so instead of winning every one to two min's it takes about five. They let more chips get spread around by other players and wait longer to spin the ball. If you notice this just walk away and come back in a few min's than you have better odds of winning in a shorter amount of time. I know this because I have worked in a casino and was a dealer. I do this system mainly for the free entertainment, with all the perks of food, drinks, and the small money, because it adds up fast. Try it some time, don't get greedy, it's a fast way to lose, and lose big you do.

    Hi,

Wow you guys, I have a great system that will make you win 94.7% of the TIME!!!!!!!!

Take your money, split it into 2 equal piles, then put half on the red, half on the black. You will win almost every round! It’s fool proof!

Seriously you idiots, the entire game can just be calculated with a win/loss ratio compared to winnings amount, and it never is in your favor. As soon as you can take find a set of fractions under that are all under 1/2, take the average of those numbers, and have it be greater then 0.5 let me know, there’s your winning formula.

try it before you talk i tried it it works and its mathematicaly sound too the only problem is the max bet if there is no max bet then you will always come out winning guaranteed try it by a practice roulette wheel with no max bet with fake money and you will see you can even try it by flipping a coin

Each time you win, you cycle down to min bet. You cannot lose – at all – because it is completely improbably that within one min/max cycle, each color won’t show up at leat once. However it takes a long time to accumulate much winnings.

The trick can be used in real casinos i think, where there is no maximum bet. but there a chance of losing all your money if you dont have enough to play with: you can calculate that chance: (we ignore the 1 green(play french rouolete:less green)) you have 1/2 chance that you lose, 1/4 that you lose 2 times in a row, 1/8 you’ll lose 3 in a row ……
you get it? sorry 4 my english

@Paul: actually your chances are exactly the same on each turn: about 50/50. It doesn’t matter how often you play. However the odds that you will win or lose more than 7 times in a row are low, but not impossible (see the article).

ok, this is email or whatever, is only partly right as Simon pointed out.
Also most casinos have a limit of $5 dollars per bet, i have not yet been to one that allows just a $1 bet on black or red, you have to bet at least $5 on every outside bet in most casinos. And the normal max of any table is like $2000 never as low as $200. But any strategy where you just bet more when you lose will always guarantee that you will.. lose.

Also a casino will not ban you for winning 1000 dollars a day, that’s just not true, i have friends that make a living at the same casino everyday. And if you have say $3000 dollars, put it down on some bet and win another 3000 they won’t do anything but give you your money.
People walk out of casinos with thousands of dollars everyday.

I’m not really one of those “scroll down website to my product” kind of guys, but i’ve stumbled upon a REAL roulette trick. And there are REAL roulette (casino) secrets that NO ONE is telling.
So i’ve decided to make a video about it, and a site, and sell what i know for cheap; the site is just barely up, but after reading this post i thought this was a good place to start sharing…
What i’m talking about is very real..you won’t win big from it, but it can give you a 70% chance of winning each and every spin – I’M NOT KIDDING.

Let’s get a little deeper. I’ll go ahead and reveal somethings right now… that counter that you see over the roulette wheel. You know, sometimes it’s a long vertical thing that displays the last number that came out, well that is just a distraction and you should pay no attention to it. The first thing to know about roulette, is that on each and every spin ANY number can come out, there is no outcome percentage that can be calculated, roulette is the most random game in the casino.

And that is one fact that leads to my strategy.
Another more spooky fact about roulette is that all the numbers when added together give you the number 666! So.. what number divides 666 the most evenly? (besides 2) 11.
And those two facts are the crux of my method.

I have not found anywhere else a mention of my kind of strategy, I’ve only told it to a kid I worked with this summer and my Mom…So i figure it’s sellable.
Basically with my method you’ll have a 70% chance of winning 2 dollars each spin. Not a lot of money, but over time it ads up.
So for every 100 spins you’ll win an average of 70 times.
And you can win more than 2 dollars at a time, but the lowest bet you can make with this method will net you $2 each time.
And if you lose, you walk away, not bet more hoping to win.
(also if you win 70 times in a row, you should then walk away)
So with my strategy all you really need is patience and no greed.

And this works, in the video i’m making i’ll have many real life and simulation (video) examples of the method in action…so this is no gimmick, i will be selling the real deal in roulette strategy.
(it’s not an ebook or pamphlet that i’m going to sell, but a video)

I’ve almost said too much, but there is a lot more to it.
And the real secret of the casino and roulette i will never tell in public!

..So all that to say, there is a real roulette trick, I will be releasing it shortly along with the other casino roulette secret that you need to know… look around for realroulettesecret
    and win some money!

I love how a blog post about gambling spam with some BS system for winning becomes a magnet for gambling spam with some BS system for winning. That’s irony, folks.

I’ve been finding free casino chips on many casino sites online but you need to be absolutely careful with the terms & conditions. Sometimes, you need to wager seven times your deposit before cashing out so just be cautious!

I’ve had a few of these emails. One I got today is almost identical to that quoted here, but it also says: “its always bound to go black eventually (it`s around 50/50 and you always
+bet around 2.5, I never had more then 7 reds/green in the raw and possibility to have 9 times the same color is like 1/milion)”

Which is right except of course that chance of it going 9 times black in a row is about one in 500, not one in a million.

I’ve checked out numerous free play gaming sites out of curiousity and some stand alone programs from pay sites. I’ve come to the conclusion that the software lets you win when you don’t play for money as a means of enticing you into the pay side of the site. There are no laws regulating gaming where there is no money involved. Any testing done on these types of software is completely invalid and does not reflect real world results.

You can’t beat the math, it’s just not possible. You also can’t beat the odds by playing short periods. 10 spins a day for a year is the same expectation as 3,640 spins in a row. What people don’t realize with this is that the game never ends, you just pick up where you left off.

The one i got was bet $1 on both red and black until a certain third of the table hasn’t shown up for at least 7 turns. Then the law of averages says that third will show up soon so start using progressive betting on that third so that no matter what you always win $20.. Since the payout would be 3-1 instead of 2-1 you earn money faster, but again you would be screwed if you run into a max bet or if you run out of cash before your third hits. If you do win start over betting $1 on red and black again and repeat the process.. The email claimed to guarantee $100/hour profits.

This trick does actually work, for some online casinos. Some max out at seven times a certain color in a row, and this makes it pretty easy to follow that strategy. also, in almost every online casino you can begin betting with 1, and can last 13 same color in a row.
